A renowned global brand, Teva largely had an umbrella approach when it came to managing their social media presence.
While they had established a strong centralized global presence, they failed to adapt it to the local markets they were part of. They soon realized that it was creating a barrier and preventing them from communicating and engaging effectively with their local audiences.
Thatโs when Teva Singapore approached us — they wanted a partner who could help them build a more localized social media strategy and create content well-suited to the sentiments of the people of Singapore.
Solution
We were brought on board to strengthen their presence on social media with a focus on content localization to drive greater engagement.
We started with gaining a thorough understanding of their company, target audience, and brand values. The key was to comply with their global brand image while creating localized content that would resonate with the Singaporean audience.
We crafted social media content with imagery and captions that their local fan following can relate to. A mix of engaging formats such as high-resolution lifestyle images, cinemagraphs, and videos were used to promote Tevaโs products and initiatives.
Thatโs not all, we also encouraged user-generated content in the form of pictures and testimonials and shared it across all social media platforms.
As part of our localized social media content strategy, we developed and executed an influencer marketing program for Teva wherein we collaborated with leading lifestyle and fashion influencers in Singapore.
These organic collaborations helped us tap into their large fan following, helping the brand gain more visibility among a highly relevant audience.
Results
Developing a localized social media strategy proved to be hugely successful. Teva was able to emotionally connect with the people of Singapore and appeal to them.
This helped them build strong affinity with the local market resulting in a 94% increase in engagement rate and 7,000 new organic fans.
